Rootzadelics combine sounds of roots reggae music with psychedelic dub and electronic sounds to create an eclectic blend full of chill beats and relaxed music to soothe the soul. Born In Gouna, in 2021 the 4 founding members, George Aboutar, Yousef el Sioufy, Marcos Delgado & Akram Alsharif set out on a mission to make something original and different by combining their different musical backgrounds and mainly their common love for reggae and electronic music. That's why If you listen carefully to their music you can hear some rock, jazz and even some latin notes all mixed up into ONE sound.. the Rootzadelic sound!
The band has released several singles and EPs, including their originals: "Jungle", “I & I”, “Blaze”, and their covers “Sun Is Shining”, “Richest Man In Babylon”, “Ghost Town”, and “El Pescador”. They have also performed at several music festivals and eventsin Egypt, including Shorelines Festival, Chill opposie, Funk n Pop, and many more.
